Mohammed Al Khaldi boasts nearly three decades of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, distinguished by his significant achievements and leadership roles. Before founding Spudwells, he served as the Well Delivery Team Leader in the Bahja/Rima Cluster, where he managed Operations in both WRM and Drilling rigs. He coordinated with Asset Teams to achieve Well services and WRM objectives, ensured HSE compliance, and supported Team development in Operations and HSE. Overseeing 14-18 units annually across a vast area with logistical challenges, he demonstrated exceptional management skills.
Throughout his distinguished career at PDO, Mohammed has held various roles, starting as a Well Site Well Engineer in 1995 and advancing to the role of Well Delivery Team Lead. He also served as Drilling Supervisor and Senior Drilling Supervisor for HPHT wells in Oman and Libya. In Libya, he was part of the team that drilled HPHT exploration wells in the Shell Libya project, supervising critical Well control and Cementation Operations.

As a Senior Well Engineer for Well Service in the Bahja/Rima Field, Mohammed managed Artificial Lift Pump changes, Well Integrity repairs, and coordinated with Asset and Artificial lift teams for optimal Workovers. His implementation of HSE tools resulted in significant LTI-free records, and he improved communication and data transfer between the office and the field.
In his role as a Contract Holder in Service Contract for Well Engineering, Mohammed managed high value Cement and Stimulation Contracts. He conducted audits, mobilized local companies, and supported operations engineers, showcasing his skills in contract management and pre/post-award processes.
Mohammed holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Bradford, UK.
